Haplopelma sp. (purchased as H. minax, is more likely H. longipes) is a burrowing tarantula that originates
from the tropical forests of Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand. Adults grow to 4-4.5". They are a very fast, aggressive
species. This is not a starter tarantula. They have no problem showing you a threat display for just looking at them the wrong
way. This is not a tarantula you can or will want to ever handle.
